Coming to my feeding areas a few days ago, there were only a few Gray-crowned Rosy Finches along with my usual gang of chickadees, pygmy nuthatches, juncos, and stellar's jays. Yesterday, I guess the word got out and a flock of around 80 birds dropped in for breakfast. Just great!

March 18th 2008 update: These are some of the Rosy Finches that I photographed today. Most of these have black bills and a range of pinkish wings and flanks. The gray crowns also have some variety in the shape of the area.
