I saw 7 eagles sitting on the ice both golden and bald at crowly this am, Ken said he has seen 4 to 6 for awhile, most of lake is still frozen, east side not so much, snow is on most of the roads, I accessed from Layton rd. ken saw WESTERN blue birds near the boundry of mono/inyo line on sherwin road west side in mono county Ken saw sand hill cranes at Bridgeport recently I saw a blue-wing teal in Olancha 2 days ago, the old books say this is unusual in spring but I suspect they`re being seen more as they are in socal? steve brad
