A Cactus Wren at Farmer's Ponds would be quite unexpected. They are usually found in their preferred habitat of Joshua Tree and dry scrub, mostly in Southern parts of Inyo County. There are no records that I know of in the Northern Owens Valley.

Regarding a Bishop birdlist - I don't know that one exists, but a good resource is the Bishop Christmas Bird Count at http://audubon2.org/cbchist/count_table.html which is a good representation of the birds seen in winter in the Bishop area in the past 25 years.
