At about 4pm today, Ron, Nancy and I went looking for the bird. They located it in the same tree as before, the first willow down the A-Drain canal from the Bishop Creek Canal. Even though it was very windy, we had extensive looks at the bird. We clearly noted the gray head and neck, broken eyering, yellow throat, gray necklace with rufous below, rufous patch on flanks, bi-colored bill, yellow back, two white wingbars and whitish undersides. We also found a Townsend's Warbler and a beautiful male Nuttall's Woodpecker.
