A second Indigo Bunting (1st year male) has joined the first individual (adult male) and both have now been singing from the same areas in Amargosa Canyon for over a week now. Last week I observed a female bunting interacting with the adult male for about 30 minutes. My view of the female wasn't good enough to determine whether it was a lazuli or indigo. Other migrants have been slowing down, plenty of flycatchers (at least three Olive-sided today), tanagers (including Summer), and a smattering of warblers moving through. Also observed a flyover White-faced Ibis at Shoshone yesterday (May 30).
