On 17 June a male Ring-necked Duck was at Tinemaha Reservoir. This species is usually not found here in June. Four American Bitterns were at Klondike Lake. One was singing and probably indicates breeding at a location used in the past. One female Wilson's Phalarope at Klondike Lake and another female at Tinemaha Reservoir have probably finished their domestic duties in the north and are southbound fall migrants...and it isn't even officially summer yet!
