About 6:30 this morning (19June08), while running and throwing golf balls back into the golf course, a Titleist I tossed flushed - of all things - a large parrot. It had a yellow head, long tail, red undertail, and was about the size of a Sharp-shinned Hawk. In flight and after landing it repeatedly called "wheet". It landed in the locust trees along the south side of fairway #18 (between the course and the alfalfa field). Photo below. If you know anybody who has lost a parrot, please let them know.
