Sighting

just to add - a Bendire's Thrasher would be even MORE unlikely than a Cactus Wren. I do not understand the movement patterns of cactus wrens, but should note that I have seen nests in Mono Co., north of this 5 bridges road area, in washes around Yellow Jacket Springs area. I have never seen one in Mono nor know of any recent records. But since theior distinctive nests have been seen in the general area, and even further north than this claim, a Cactus wren would be highly unusual but not compleatly out of the question.
