Sighting

This morning, 15 Aug, we had several signs of fall migration in our backyard: myriad Rufous Hummingbirds (all females or immatures), a Willow Flycatcher (whitting, tail-up, no eye-ring, wide based bill, entirely pale lower mandible, no leg bands (sorry Chris McCreedy)), and our first of fall on the valley Pine Siskin, cavorting with Lesser Goldfinches. A few days ago we saw a Black-throated Gray Warbler.
