This Sooty Fox Sparrow was found by Debby Parker on 24 Oct 2002 in her Bishop backyard and continued in Chris and Rosie's brushpile on 24 Nov. Some birders consider "Sooty" Fox Sparrow the most uncommon Fox Sparrow form in the Eastern Sierra. Sooty's are usually found wintering on the coast.
