Eastern Sierra Audubon Events
Eastern Sierra Audubon sponsors and participates in many events in the communty - here are some (click the links to find out more):
- Programs- Eastern Sierra Audubon sponsors evening programs on various topics of interest, offered bimonthly during the fall, winter and spring
- Field Trips - ESAS offers field trips throughout the year
- Calendar- See all the events by month, or subscribe to our Google Calendar
- Big Days- Owens Lake Big Days are twice a year, Mono County has started having Big Days as well
- Bird Counts - Christmas Bird Count, Great Backyard Bird Count
- Bird-a-Thon - fundraiser corresponding with the annual Christmas Bird Count
- Educational Programs - Birds in the Classroom, Wild at Home, Sierra Discovery Day, and more!
Community Events:
- Chautauqua- ESAS is one of the sponsors of the Annual Mono Basin Bird Chautauqua
- Earth Day - when there is a community event, we usually have a booth
- Sierra Discovery Day - we enjoyed participating in the first SDD in 2011 and look forward to future events
- Banff Mountain Film Festival - we usually have a table at the festival - come say hi!
